Surveys and Marketing

We have been working with several companies to integrate EPASS with their marketing or survey services. This integration is all automated so that once we have worked out the rules on what information should be shared, there is nothing for you to do. EPASS continues sending data to their services, and they send out the surveys or requests for reviews. When one of our clients implemented this service recently they received over 100 new Google reviews in the first 90 days.

The companies/services that we currently integrate with, for marketing purposes:

The first 3 services we have a very similar integration with. Our system looks at finished invoices and, based on the parameters you have provided to us, we will send basic customer (and optionally product) data to the service. Some of the parameters you can provide would be: don’t include invoice type X, or only include invoice types A, B, and C, or exclude certain customers. These parameters are customized per company and then built into our procedures that run on your server.

Since most companies don’t finish invoices until the following day and there could be a weekend or holidays involved, our procedures look at the past 2-5 days (this can be changed as needed) for any invoices that were finished and they haven’t already been sent to the marketing service. Then we send the data over and mark all of the invoices as sent.

There are further rules that you can customize with the services themselves, but we do not get involved in that part. Those companies would provide the appropriate training on their systems. In general, though, you can expect that within a couple days of a customer getting their product delivered or having their appliance serviced they will receive a marketing email.

The last service, Survey Monkey, is currently being built but will be sent out as part of an email format. They are intended to work with auto job status emails or batch email. You will be able to add a link to your survey in the email format, which will pass values from EPASS as well (like invoice number) so you can relate any survey result in their system back to an invoice in EPASS.
