Text Messaging Variables

Tools > System Maintenance > Variables > Text Messages

Your Auth ID is provided by EPASS when you subscribe to the texting service.

Use the Check for new texts every X seconds up and down arrows to set how often the system will check for new texts.

Check the Automatically send to all 'Text' numbers box if you would like the system to automatically send texts to all customer numbers designated as text numbers when texting that customer.

Uncheck the Automatically send to all 'Text' numbers box if you would like the system to prompt you to choose your desired recipient number(s) when you text a customer with more than one text number in the system.

Viewing Text Numbers

Tools > System Maintenance > Tables > Text Number

In this screen, you can view all the numbers that have been designated as text numbers for your account.

Configuring User Security Settings

Tools > System Maintenance > Tables > User Security

With a user or group selected, click Security.

Select Text Numbers to view and edit the text number security settings. Departments and specific groups can be granted security to either send from a text number or receive texts sent to a text number.

Setting Default Text Numbers by User

Tools > System Maintenance > Tables > User Security

If a user has security for more than one text number, you can set their default text number by clicking Edit with the user selected.

Use the drop down menu under text messaging to set the default text number.

This option will only be available when the user has security for more than one text number.
