📄️ Using the Maintenance Screens
There are several maintenance screens throughout EPASS, and they are all used very frequently. The primary purpose of the maintenance screens is to search for records related to the maintenance screen you are in and allow you to view or modify the records you have searched for. Below is the Customer Maintenance screen and a basic description of how to use it. All of the maintenance screens are very similar and what is described here applies to all of them.
📄️ Drop Down Lists
To make it easier to use the drop-down lists, you can start typing in the field almost everywhere you can press F2 or click the browse button to get a list of brands, products, or misc. codes etc.
📄️ Hotkeys and Shortcuts
Some of the common keyboard keys used throughout EPASS. Some use just one key, while others use a combination of keys.
📄️ Audit Trail Codes
Audit trail report exist for invoicing, purchasing, item and serial inventory. These reports are updated when an action within the module is executed. For example, a delete. When running an audit trail, you will see codes along the left side of the report. These codes indicate what action has been performed on the system and will allow you to track that product's history, and can be a vital tool in your inventory investigations.
📄️ Crystal Reports
There are many reports on the online documents section of EPASS that you are welcome to use, learn from, and manipulate etc.
📄️ Customizing Columns
You can customize several columns in EPASS: select only the data columns you want to see and arrange how those columns are displayed on a screen.
📄️ Viewing User Logins
EPASS tracks the date and time when a user logs into EPASS or when they log out. It also updates their Last Activity time every 60 seconds, enabling you to see if they are still logged in and active. This data is reported on the OE-51 User Login report.
