1 - Logging in to the App
Note
Your device doesn’t need a Wi-Fi connection to login to the app.-
Start the app on your device.

Tap Login.

Enter your EPASS Username and Password, and touch Login.
Once you’re logged in, the app will take you to the home screen.

2 - Taking a Payment
Note
These instructions assume that your mobile device is connected to the Internet via a Wi-Fi connection. You can still take payments when your device is offline, but you will need to sync offline payments once it reconnects. Invoices for offline payments aren’t sent to the payee until the payments have been synched.-
On the Home screen, tap Take Payment.

Enter the Invoice Number and the Amount to be paid.

Click Next to advance to the Charge Payment screen.

Verify that the card reader connection status is green (connected), tap Confirm, and then present the device to the customer for payment.

Once payment has been processed, tap OK at the Payment Approved screen. A copy of the invoice is emailed to the address that is in the invoice Bill To.

3 - Synching Offline Payments
Payments taken while your device was offline are stored in the app. You need to sync the offline payments with the EPASS Pay server once you have reconnected to Wi Fi.
Note
There is no limit to the amount of offline payments that can be stored.To Sync Offline Payments

On the Home screen, tap View/Edit Offline Payments.

Each payment that was taken while the device was offline is listed.
The payments are synched with the EPASS Pay server and invoices are emailed to the address that is in the invoice Bill To.

4 - Viewing Payment History

On the Home screen, tap View Payment History.

Do the following:

By default, payment history is retained for 14 days. You can adjust this in the application settings.See Also
5 - Upgrading the App
Tap Update Now to automatically download and install the update.

6 - Changing the Admin Password

If you are currently logged in, tap Logout.

Tap Settings.

Log in with the the Admin user name and password.

Tap the Admin toggle.

Enter the Admin username and current password.
-
Enter the new password and confirm it.

Click Save.

7 - Troubleshooting
The card reader device is not connecting.
Verify that the you’ve selected the correct card reader in the app Settings.

Logout of the app if you are currently logged in.

Tap Settings and log in with the Administrator UserName and Password.

Verify that the card reader name selected is the correct model.
If the EPASS Mobile Pay app is not allowed to access the mobile device’s location, to connect to nearby Bluetooth devices, or connect with USB devices, then the card readers will not work. Selecting a card reader in the Settings screen will cause the permissions prompts to appear again if they had been previously denied.
The status of some payments in Payment History are marked as “Unknown”
This status occurs in the rare event when payment processing is interrupted due to a sudden network outage. Unknown status payments will resolve once you sync them with the EPASS Pay server.
To Sync Unknown Status Payments:

On the Home screen, tap View/Edit Offline Payments.

Tap the Sync button to sync the individual payment
OR
Tap Sync All to sync all the offline payments listed.
